Today I’m here to share a quick rundown of Emily and James’ Tigh-na-Mara wedding in Parksville – a day filled with love, laughter, and the most adorable flower dog you’ll ever see.
We kicked things off at the resort, where the couple got ready amidst the cozy vibes of the resort. Snapshots of Emily’s stunning dress, James looking sharp, and the pre-ceremony excitement set the tone for the day. The ceremony went down at the gazebo. It’s a magical spot for a wedding, with the Parksville beach in the background and forests and cabins to the back. For their portraits, we stuck to on-site locations: the gorgeous beach, and a road through the forest. A sweet highlight was Luna, their pup, who joined in for some adorable pics. Luna was pretty sure the day was all about her!
I truly love photographing a Tigh-na-mara wedding. It’s such a great venue if you want to keep things simple so that you can enjoy your day. From a photography standpoint, there are so many gorgeous backdrops on-site, so we don’t need to drive anywhere. This saves time, and takes away the potential for added stress. Not to mention, your guests can all stay on-site with you, so you can celebrate all weekend. With the option for ocean view hotel rooms or rustic log cabins, it’s the perfect venue to bring those Vancouver Island vibes to your guests.
Emily and James, here’s to a lifetime of adventures, laughter, and love. Your wedding day was a blast to capture – cheers to you!
