Illona and Steve’s Engagement Session on Chesterman Beach
I’m so excited to be sharing Illona and Steve’s Tofino Chesterman Beach engagement session on the blog today! If you know me, you’ll know I will take any opportunity to go to Tofino. These two booked a trip to the beautiful West Coast for Illona’s birthday weekend, and it was the perfect opportunity to do some engagement photos.
Tofino is gorgeous year round of course, but Fall is my favourite time to visit. There’s less tourists around so you’ll definitely be able to find a spot on the beach for a campfire. The waves are so much bigger better for surfing and storm watching. From a photography standpoint, the sun sets much earlier in the evening so we don’t have to keep shooting until 10pm to get those last golden hour shots. This leaves time for you and your love to go for a nice dinner together afterwards – I always recommend making your engagement session part of an epic date night (I suggest checking out Wolf in the Fog or Shelter).
